Myntra Seller Registration — 4-Stage Flow
- 1Stage 1 — Account creation (Day 1)Sign up on partner.myntra.com with your company email + GST + PAN. Basic KYC verification happens automatically. Expect a brand-fit questionnaire specific to Myntra's fashion focus.
- 2Stage 2 — Document submission (Day 2-5)Upload all mandatory documents: GST, PAN, trademark (Class 25 (apparel), Class 3 (beauty)), bank cancelled cheque, brand deck, product photography samples. Missing/incorrect documents are the #1 reason for rejection.
- 3Stage 3 — Category-buyer review (Day 5-15)Myntra has dedicated category-buyer teams (dedicated Fashion + Beauty + Footwear buyer teams). They review brand fit, catalog readiness, and commercial terms. Agency-filed applications are pre-vetted → faster turnaround.
- 4Stage 4 — Catalog upload + go-live (Day 15-25)Upload initial catalog (typically 20-50 SKUs) via API or bulk XLSX. QC + activation takes 3-7 working days.
Portal walkthrough — partner.myntra.com
Myntra's seller central at partner.myntra.com exposes: Orders dashboard, Inventory manager, Catalog uploader, Ads console, Returns & disputes tab, Settlements page, Analytics + reports. Most seller operations happen here after go-live. For scale operations, REST API + Partner Portal + Bulk XLSX enables OMS integration (Zaroori Jini OMS recommended).
Vendor Model — Marketplace vs Vendor Central
Myntra operates on: Marketplace + Managed (Myntra Fashion Cloud for select brands). Marketplace model = you own inventory, Myntra takes 25% commission per sale. Vendor Central = Myntra buys inventory from you upfront at a wholesale rate, then sells to end customers. Vendor Central offers better ranking + fewer operational headaches but sacrifices ~40-50% of MRP. Marketplace is right for D2C brands; Vendor Central for FMCG-heavy or volume plays.
